Our investigators and protection specialists have many years of experience including law enforcement, SWAT, federal background investigations, insurance fraud investigations, military and surveillance. Our protection teams are also trained and experienced in administering emergency first aid and CPR. Many are retired law enforcement and federal agents. Our operators are experts in verbal judo and know how to de-escalate situations. Some are world-class martial artists in addition to being investigators and protection specialists.

Christopher Bawiec, President & CEO
Christopher Bawiec is the founder of Cedarwood Executive Solutions LLC. Cedarwood grew from Bawiec’s passion for seeking the truth, protecting and serving others and the love for all things tactical.
Bawiec began his career in law enforcement in 2001 just before 9/11. He worked as a patrol deputy and was later selected to join the elite Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) for Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office in Little Rock, AR. Bawiec was awarded First Place in Shooting and Fitness at the FBI SWAT Academy.
In 2005, Bawiec was recruited by a major insurance company to join their Special Investigations Unit (SIU). While working in the insurance industry Bawiec investigated claims suspected of being fraudulent throughout Arkansas and portions of Louisiana, Missouri and Mississippi. Cases included personal injuries, vehicle theft/burn and many other types of total loss claims. Bawiec conducted Examinations Under Oath (EUO) and obtained recorded statements which were forwarded to the Department of Insurance and many resulted in felony convictions.
After working in SIU, Bawiec joined USIS, a premiere Federal contractor, as a Special Investigator conducting background investigations for the US Office of Personnel Management (USOPM). Bawiec conducted extensive background investigations on men and women under consideration for positions of national security and/or public trust.
Bawiec made the decision to enter the field of private security. He was quickly promoted to Assistant Director of Security at a large shopping mall in the Orlando, FL area and shortly after was promoted to Director of Security at another Orlando shopping mall. As Director of Security, Bawiec lead a team of one Staff Sergeant, two Sergeants and 15 officers ensuring 24/7 safety and security coverage for the property, tenants and patrons of the mall.
